Crafting Christmas: The Ornament Collection Grows

It’s now October and I’ve been working away to fill my Etsy site with ornaments this year. Crafting ornaments is a fun job. The process doesn’t tie me down to the craft room and I can make them as I sit in front of the TV. And the response to them has been good. People like buying the smaller, less expensive items. Yes, it is hard to make any real money by selling them. The cost of materials is so much more than what people who don’t craft all the time believe it to be. And I have a lot of time into making each one so that I end up paying myself about $2.50 an hour when you do the math, LOL!  But since I enjoy making them, and it is during TV time, well, that’s just the way it is. Here’s some of what I have been working on this year. And, of course, you can always see the full Etsy line here.
